Kayleigh Watts-Harrison
Creator of Caretta Pilates & Pilates teacher

Qualifications: Level 3 Body Control® Pilates Mat, First Aid CPR, Scottish Mental Health First Aid

I first found Pilates in my early twenties when searching for an exercise to help with my lower back and knee pain. I began to read about all the positive affects Pilates can have even after just 3 classes. After attending my first Pilates class I realised that my body craved movement and I continued to attend weekly classes. One year later and after a spontaneous move to Edinburgh I decided to retrain as a Pilates Teacher and once qualified I set up Caretta Pilates.

I created Caretta Pilates to hold space for people who want to reconnect to themselves through Pilates practice. Through movement and breath, clients begin to listen to their bodies again and move in a mindful way that’s beneficial to their overall wellbeing. There is now a wonderful community of people who practice Pilates with me on a regular basis and I look forward to hopefully welcoming you to a Caretta Pilates class soon.
